It all starts when Harry Mason arrives in the small town of Silent Hill aboard his 4x4 and in the company of his only daughter, Cheryl. In the middle of the night, an accident ends the family trip. Harry wakes up in his car, Cheryl is gone and a strange fogscape covers the village; a village completely infested with skinny creatures and hungry for fresh flesh.

The game has a scenario worthy of a movie with twists and many riddles of the type of Resident Evil. Even if at the beginning, quite realistic, the game quickly plunges us into a monstrous world with unhealthy corpses in every corner.
